Chief Advisor pays tribute to language martyrs on the first hour of Ekushey

On the occasion of Amar Ekushey and International Mother Language Day, Chief Advisor to the Interim Government, Dr. Muhammad Yunus, paid deep tribute to the martyrs of the historic language movement.

At 12:12 midnight on Friday, the Head of Government paid tribute by placing a wreath at the Central Shaheed Minar.

At 12:12 midnight on Friday, Chief Advisor Professor Yunus reached the premises of the Shaheed Minar.

Along with the historical song of Amar Ekushey, ‘Amar Bhaiyer Rokte Rangano Ekushey February…Ami Ki Bhulite Pari’, the Chief Advisor placed a wreath at the Shaheed Minar.

He stood in silence for a while, paying deep respect to the memory of the language martyrs.

Earlier, Dhaka University Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Niaz Ahmed Khan welcomed the Chief Advisor at the Shaheed Minar premises.
