Chief Adviser Departs Rome for Home

Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus departed Rome for Bangladesh on Sunday (27 April 2025), a day after attending the funeral mass of Pope Francis at St. Peter’s Square in Vatican City.

Professor Yunus joined global leaders at the solemn ceremony on Saturday (26 April) to pay tribute to Pope Francis, who will be remembered worldwide for his unwavering commitment to peace, human rights, and the welfare of the poor.
