Chief Adviser calls on SSF to perform duties through a combination of public relations and security

The Chief Adviser to the Interim Government, Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus, has called on the members of the Special Security Force (SSF) to perform their duties through a combination of public relations and security rather than being isolated from the public.

He made this statement while addressing the ‘Pradhan Adeshtar Darbar’ program organized to mark the 39th founding anniversary of the Special Security Force at the Shapla Hall of the Office of the Chief Adviser today (June 18, 2025).

The Chief Adviser also called on the members of the Special Security Force to rise above all political ideologies and work for security.

Among others, SSF Director General Major General Mahbubus Samad Chowdhury spoke at the program.

Home Affairs Advisor Lieutenant General (Retd.) Md. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury, the three service chiefs, Principal Secretary to the Chief Advisor Md. Siraj Uddin Mia, Principal Coordinator for SDG Affairs of the Chief Advisor’s Office Lamia Morshed, Press Secretary to the Chief Advisor Shafiqul Alam, Inspector General of Police and senior officials were present at the event.
