BUET and Bangladesh Institute of Management Signed MoU

Bangladesh Institute of Management (BIM) and Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Saturday (30 August 2025) at the BUET campus.

This MoU will strengthen academic, professional, and research collaboration between the two prestigious institutions, paving the way for joint initiatives in education, training, and innovation.

The MoU was signed by Dr. Khandoker Azizul Islam, Director General, BIM, and Professor Dr. Abu Borhan Mohammad Badruzzaman, Vice-Chancellor, BUET.

The collaboration was facilitated by the Institute of Appropriate Technology (IAT), BUET, on behalf of BUET, and by the IQAC Office of BIM, on behalf of BIM.

Distinguished guests from BUET present at the ceremony included Prof. Dr. Abdul Hasib Chowdhury, Pro Vice-Chancellor; Prof. Dr. A.K.M. Masud, Director, Directorate of Students’ Welfare (DSW); Prof. Dr. N. M. Golam Zakaria, Registrar; and Prof. Dr. Mohidus Samad Khan, Director, IAT.

From BIM, notable attendees were Dr. Md. Mamunur Rashid, Director, IQAC, BIM, and Dr. Uttam Kumar Datta, Head of Marketing, BIM.
