A delegation from the Bangladesh Packaging and Accessories Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BPAMEA) met with Benazir Ahmed, Chairman of the Bangladesh Small and Cottage Industries Corporation (BSCIC), to exchange views.
Led by Md. Shahariar, the BPAMEA delegation met with the BSCIC Chairman to discuss various issues regarding the development and expansion of the packaging and accessories industry.
During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on the handover of industrial plots, the establishment of a dedicated ‘Packaging Palli’ (Packaging Hub) to foster the sector’s growth, the relocation and integration of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) into BSCIC industrial plots, and the provision of necessary support for the expansion of the industry.
