The Bangladesh-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BGCCI) has organized a farewell reception in honor of German Ambassador to Bangladesh, Mr. Achim Tröster. The reception, organized at Radisson Blu Dhaka in the capital at 7 pm on Saturday (14 June 2025), was attended by diplomats, government officials, businessmen, and prominent figures from civil society.
The program was presided over by Mr. Md. Faruk Khan, Vice President of BGCCI and Managing Director of Weber Power Solutions Limited. He said that during his tenure in Bangladesh, he has performed his duties with dignity. He has played an important role in strengthening the long-lasting and cordial relations between Bangladesh and Germany.

German Ambassador to Bangladesh Mr. Achim Troster expressed his sincere gratitude to the Government and people of Bangladesh for their warm hospitality, dynamic partnership and partnership in addressing global challenges.
Representatives of the diplomatic community, high-ranking government officials, leaders of various business organizations and prominent figures of society were present at the event to bid farewell to Ambassador Troster. They remembered his contribution with respect and wished him success in his future endeavors.
