BGCCI Hosts Discussion on Policy Reforms for Trade and Investment

The Bangladesh-German Chamber of Commerce & Industry (BGCCI) recently hosted a networking event in Dhaka on “Policy Alignment to Enhance the Trade and Investment Climate.”

Anwar Hossain, Administrator of BGMEA, attended as a special guest and shared key insights on ensuring the continued growth of Bangladesh’s industry—especially in the context of the country’s upcoming LDC graduation.

He emphasized the need for simplification of business procedures, support for SMEs, attracting investment and ensuring stability, improving the ease of doing business, enhancing infrastructure capacity, addressing LDC graduation challenges, and promoting circularity and environmental sustainability.

A strong policy framework is essential to drive sustainable growth and investment in Bangladesh.
