Bangladesh-Pakistan sign an agreement and four memorandums of understanding

Today, Sunday (August 24, 2025), an agreement and four memorandums of understanding were signed between the two countries after a bilateral meeting between Bangladesh’s Foreign Affairs Advisor Md. Towhid Hossain and Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar. The meeting began at around 10:45 am at Hotel Sonargaon in the capital.

The signed agreements and memorandums of understanding include issues such as visa abolition for government and diplomatic passport holders of the two countries, and the formation of a joint working group on trade.

Security Advisor Khalilur Rahman, Foreign Secretary Asad Alam Siam and senior officials of the ministry participated in it. A delegation led by Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar participated on behalf of Pakistan.
