Bangladesh-Nepal agree to enhance bilateral cultural cooperation

Nepalese Ambassador to Bangladesh Ghanshyam Bhandari paid a courtesy call on Cultural Affairs Minister Nitai Roy Chowdhury at his office on Sunday (May 3, 2026).

During the meeting, various aspects of further strengthening cultural cooperation between Bangladesh and Nepal were discussed. Emphasis was placed on increasing mutual cooperation in various fields of art, literature and culture and expanding cultural exchange activities.

They also agreed on the need to enhance cultural contacts to further strengthen the traditional friendly relations between the two countries.
