Bangladesh Embassy in Tokyo organizes seminar on ‘Trade and Investment Potential in Bangladesh’ in Osaka

A seminar titled ‘Trade and Investment Potential in Bangladesh’ was organized by the Bangladesh Embassy in Tokyo in collaboration with Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), Japan Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industries (JBCCI) and Osaka Chamber of Commerce and Industries at Osaka Chamber Auditorium on Wednesday (October 01). More than 100 businessmen and investors from Bangladesh and Japan participated in the seminar.

In his opening remarks, Bangladesh’s Ambassador to Japan, Md. Daud Ali, highlighted various effective initiatives taken by the Bangladesh government to increase bilateral trade and investment. He urged Japanese investors to invest in Bangladesh’s leather products, pharmaceuticals, agriculture and agro-based products, information technology and small and medium enterprises sectors in addition to the ready-made garment sector.
