Diplomatic Desk:
The third round of negotiations regarding a Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between Bangladesh and Singapore has commenced. These talks began in Bangladesh on Sunday (October 4).

Separate working groups held simultaneous discussions on key issues of mutual commercial interest. These topics included trade in services, Rules of Origin, investment, government procurement, and trade remedies.

Meanwhile, the 6th meeting of the Bangladesh-Singapore Joint Working Group also took place. Led by the Ministry of Commerce of Bangladesh and the Ministry of Trade and Industry of Singapore, the meeting reviewed various areas of existing and proposed bilateral cooperation between the two nations.
Discussions during the meeting specifically focused on cooperation in sectors such as logistics, port management, renewable energy, and aviation.
