Bangladesh Ambassador to Nepal pays courtesy call on Nepali Foreign Minister

Bangladesh Ambassador to Nepal Md. Shafiqur Rahman recently paid a courtesy call on Nepali Foreign Minister Dr. Arju Rana at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The meeting held on Monday (July 14, 2025) discussed strengthening bilateral relations and matters of mutual interest.

Welcoming the newly appointed Ambassador, Nepali Foreign Minister Dr. Arju Rana expressed hope that the relations between Bangladesh and Nepal will be further strengthened in the future.

The meeting exchanged views on various issues including existing trade and commerce between the two countries, energy and power sectors, agriculture and food security, textile industry, public and private cooperation in education and research sectors, tourism development, increasing people-to-people contacts, and increasing relations between academia and think tanks.
