After the renovation work was completed by the Bangladesh Air Force and the US Pacific Air Force jointly conduct renovation work at Anwara Upazila Health Complex in Chittagong, the ENCAP program was officially conducted on Thursday (18 September 2025).
It was organized as part of the ongoing seven-day joint exercise “Operation Pacific Angel 25-3”.

Air Vice Marshal Haider Abdullah, GUP, NDC, FAWC, PSC, Air Commander of Air Force Base Zahurul Haque, was present as the chief guest at the event. He inspected the renovated health complex and highlighted the importance of Bangladesh Air Force’s humanitarian contribution and international cooperation in the healthcare sector.

Under the ENCAP program, necessary infrastructure renovation, building repair, sanitation development and modern medical equipment have been added to the health complex. As a result, the local people will be able to get better healthcare. State-of-the-art electro-medical equipment was handed over to the Anwara Upazila Health Complex authorities at the event.

It is worth noting that “Operation Pacific Angel” is a joint exercise of the Bangladesh Air Force and the US Pacific Air Force. Its main goals are to provide humanitarian assistance, conduct medical activities, develop infrastructure and increase regional cooperation. It is expected that this exercise will further strengthen mutual understanding, coordination and friendly relations between the armed forces of the two countries.
Senior officials of the Bangladesh Air Force and the US Pacific Air Force, divisional health directors, representatives of the Civil Surgeon’s Office, members of the local administration and civil dignitaries at various levels were present at the event.
