Argentine Ambassador to Dhaka Marcelo Carlos Sessa paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister’s Foreign Affairs Advisor Humayun Kabir.
The courtesy call was held at the Prime Minister’s Office on Monday (April 13, 2026). During the meeting, the Foreign Affairs Advisor reiterated Bangladesh’s commitment to further consolidate and deepen the friendly relations between the two countries.
In the meeting, both sides emphasized on expanding bilateral trade, cooperation in the agricultural sector, and increasing cooperation in the field of sports.
In the meeting, the Foreign Affairs Advisor called on Argentina to support Bangladesh’s candidacy for the presidency of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly (2026-2027).
The meeting was held in a cordial and sincere atmosphere.
