Agriculturalists Association of Bangladesh Doa Mahfil held at Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University (SHEBU) for the recovery of Begum Khaleda Zia

A Doa and Milad Mahfil was held at the initiative of the Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University (SHEBU) branch of the Agriculturalists Association of Bangladesh (AB) for the recovery of BNP Chairperson and three-time former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia. The event was organized at the university’s central mosque after Zohr prayers on Thursday (December 11, 2025).

SHEB Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Abdul Latif was present as the chief guest at the event. AAB Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University President Professor Dr. A. K. M. Ruhul Amin presided over the event, while Kurigram Agricultural University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Rashedul Islam, Pro-Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Belal Hossain, Treasurer and Joint Convener of AAB Central Committee Professor Muhammad Abul Bashar, Planning Development and Works Director Professor Dr. Md. Charowar Hossain, Professor Dr. H. M. M. Tariq Hossain and Soures Director Professor Dr. F. M. Aminuzzaman.

In addition, AAB Central Committee Member and SHCBU Outdoor Activities Director Professor Dr. Md. Jamshed Alam, Examination Controller Khondaker Asaduzzaman, ICT Director Professor Dr. Md. Jamilur Rahman, Transport Pool Director Professor Dr. Md. Saiful Islam, Student Counseling and Guidance Director Professor Mohd. Ashabul Haque, Proctor Professor Dr. Md. Arfan Ali, AAB SHCBU Branch General Secretary Krishibid Md. Nazrul Islam Sultan and various faculty chairmen, teachers, officers and employees were present.

Special prayers were offered at the mahfil, praying for Begum Khaleda Zia’s speedy recovery and the country’s progress and welfare.
