Advisory Council Committee was held the 3rd meeting of the Law and Order

The 3rd meeting of Law and Order Advisory Council Committee was held on Tuesday (October 22, 2024) in the conference room of the Ministry of Home Affairs at the Bangladesh Secretariat in the capital under the chairmanship of Lt. Gen. Md. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury (Retd.), Advisor on Home Affairs and Agriculture and convener of the committee.

At the meeting; Development of law and order situation across the country, maintenance of law and order on the occasion of Bishwa Ijtema, overall security and other relevant issues; Initiatives to prevent, eliminate and control terrorist activities and militancy; Various related issues were discussed, including weapons storage and conducting illegal arms recovery operations.

In the meeting, the government committee on improving the law and order situation, strengthening the arrest process of law and order violators and criminals, revealing the political identity of various criminals and instigators of agitations and gatherings, demanding and protesting the agitations and gatherings instead of rallying on the streets regarding various demands. / submitted to the commission, public meetings and rallies held at Suhrawardy Udyan instead of Shahbagh to alleviate public suffering, informing the public through regular press briefings of the important activities taken by the law and order enforcement chiefs, speedy arrest of top terrorists released on bail if they commit crimes, etc. .
