A monthly welfare meeting was held at the Gazipur Metropolitan Police (GMP) headquarters on Tuesday (18 November 2025) at 11:00 am. The meeting was presided over by the Honorable Police Commissioner (Acting) of Gazipur Metropolitan Police, Mr. Mohammad Zahidul Hasan, BPM (Service).
The Police Commissioner (Acting) distributed awards among the police members who performed their duties with professionalism and dedication in the meeting. He listened attentively to the statements of the members of various units. The police members present raised various problems, applications and proposals at the individual and collective levels. The Commissioner immediately gave instructions to the concerned officers and assured to resolve the problems quickly.
In his speech, he mentioned that the administration is determined to ensure the overall welfare of every member of GMP. He also directed everyone to give top priority to ensuring public service along with the welfare of the force.
Deputy Police Commissioner (Headquarters and Finance) Mr. Mohammad Zahid Hossain Bhuiyan, BPM (Bar) and other Deputy Police Commissioners were also present in the meeting. Officers and members of various units of Gazipur Metropolitan Police area participated in the meeting.
