New German Ambassador to Bangladesh Presents Credentials to President

The new German Ambassador to Bangladesh, H. E. Dr. Rüdiger Lotz, formally assumed office by presenting his credentials to President Md. Shahabuddin at the President’s Office (Bangabhaban).

After presenting his credentials, in a courtesy call, both sides emphasized on strengthening cooperation on various issues of mutual interest, including democracy and human rights, women’s empowerment, combating climate change, renewable energy, and expanding bilateral trade and investment.

Ambassador Lotz said, “The morale of the people of Bangladesh is truly inspiring. Germany and Bangladesh have a long-standing relationship; we will move forward on this path together.”
