Advisor to the Ministry of Women and Child Affairs and Social Welfare, Sharmin S. Murshid, in her speech as the chief guest at the July Revival Society Building Pledge Ceremony at the Osmani Memorial Auditorium in Dhaka today, said that we must build the country in the spirit of July.
She virtually recited the oath in the spirit of July in 64 districts and upazilas including Dhaka at the Osmani Memorial Auditorium organized by the Ministry of Social Welfare today (July 27, 2025) to build the country in the spirit of July.

The advisor said, “Today we have not come here just for a service fair or rally. We have come to conclude a new social contract. We have come to pledge a new day. The dream that you had in those turbulent days of July is a dream of a Bangladesh free of discrimination, exploitation, humanity and dignity. Today is the day of our collective journey towards realizing that dream.”
He said, the July revival is not just a change of power, it is a revival of humanity in the character of the state. From today, the state is no longer an unknown institution seen from afar. From today, the state will be your closest friend.

The advisor said, today, keeping all of us as witnesses at this historic moment, I want to deliver all the services of my two ministries, the Ministry of Social Welfare and the Ministry of Women and Children Affairs, to the doorsteps of the weak people on behalf of the government. He said, through the change in the structure of the ministry, all the errors and deviations are being removed and the allowances you deserve are being delivered in a scientific manner. He said, we are declaring in an unequivocal voice that our policy against any kind of physical, mental, sexual or economic violence against women and children in this Bengal will be zero tolerance. This state will no longer tolerate the tears of a woman or a child. Our National Women Protection Helpline 109 and Child Protection Child Helpline 1098 will not be just two numbers from now on, they will be the voice of courage of every woman and child, the armor of their protection. He said, we want to build a society where every woman and child will grow up fearlessly, every woman will live with dignity. He expressed this commitment to free our motherland from injustice, corruption, discrimination, oppression of women and children and the humiliation of poverty.

The program was chaired by Secretary of the Ministry of Social Welfare Dr. Md. Mohiuddin and Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Women and Children Affairs Momtaz Ahmed ndc delivered a special guest speech. July daughters, officials and employees of the ministry, representatives of various professions, teachers, imams, youth, journalists were present at the program.
