German Embassy expresses deep condolences over plane crash at Milestone School

The German Embassy in Dhaka has expressed its deep condolences over the loss of life in the crash of a Bangladesh Air Force training aircraft at Milestone School on July 21.

In a statement, the German Embassy said, “We are deeply saddened by the loss of life and injuries caused by the crash of a Bangladesh Air Force jet at Milestone School. We extend our heartfelt condolences to the families of the deceased, the injured and the entire school community.”

The embassy added, “We have deep sympathy for all those affected by this tragic accident. We wish the injured a speedy recovery.”

The statement added, “We stand by the people of Bangladesh in this time of grief and express our gratitude and respect to those who responded with courage and compassion to the first responders, especially the doctors and rescue workers.”
