Sheraton Dhaka and bKash Limited have jointly organized “Coastal Carnival” – a spectacular seafood festival for the food lovers of Dhaka. The festival is being held every evening from July 10 to July 19 at The Garden Kitchen Restaurant on the 14th floor of Sheraton Dhaka, Banani.
The opening ceremony held on July 10, 2025 was attended by the Chief Guests, H.E. Mr. Ali Thunayan Abdul Wahab Hamadah, Ambassador of the Embassy of Kuwait and H.E. Ms. Sheunin Rashid, High Commissioner of the Maldives High Commission. Also present were Md. Shakawat Hossain, Senior Relationship Executive (Merchant Payments) of bKash Limited Kaidul Arefin, high-ranking officials of Sheraton Dhaka, expat seafood expert chefs, media representatives and food bloggers.
After the inaugural ribbon cutting, an exclusive tasting session was organized for the guests, where they enjoyed some of the delicious signature dishes to be served at the festival.
The festival will be hosted by internationally renowned seafood experts Chef Rimun Obeid and Chef Sayeed Dursun, and renowned Bangladeshi chefs Mahbubur Rashid Akhand and Chef Md. Allama Iqbal. Guests can enjoy a variety of seafood dishes including Sea Food Paella Valenciana, Smoked Hilsha, Seafood Jambalaya Rice, Chitol Fish Kofta, Tuna and Salmon Teriyaki, Ilish Bharta, Fish Sayadieh, Beetroot Salmon Gravlax, Lobster Bisque and many more.
A special attraction will be the Live Seafood Experience Counter, where guests can request their favorite seafood such as Norwegian Salmon, Octopus, Tuna, King Prawns, Lobsters, etc. to be cooked by themselves. The festival will feature seven stations showcasing different styles of seafood preparation.
Seafood lovers will also be treated to tempting dishes like Greek Lamb Shank, Mutton Nehari, Mutton Rogan Josh. Dessert lovers will be treated to a variety of delicious desserts including Chocolate Milk Baklava, Pistachio and Coconut Baklava, Turkish Rawani, Kunafa, Arabian Medovik, Matcha Mousse Cake.
The festival will be available for dinner every evening and the buffet is priced at just Tk 9,450 (net) per person.
