Chinese Embassy Cultural Counselor meets DU Vice-Chancellor

Mr. Li Shaopeng, Cultural Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Dhaka, met with Dhaka University Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Niaz Ahmed Khan at his office on Thursday (July 03, 2025).

Director of the Confucius Institute at Dhaka University Dr. Yang Hui and an official from the Chinese Embassy in Dhaka were present at the time.

During the meeting, they discussed various issues of mutual interest, especially the ongoing joint cooperative education and research activities between Dhaka University and various universities in China. During this time, the possibility of undertaking more joint cooperative activities related to education and research between Dhaka University and Chinese universities was discussed. The Cultural Counselor of the Chinese Embassy thanked the Vice Chancellor of Dhaka University for his cooperation in organizing various events on Chinese language and culture.

Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Niaz Ahmed Khan thanked the guests for coming to Dhaka University and expressing deep interest in its education and research activities.
