Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and Gono-odhikar Parishad held a meeting to exchange views

The leaders of the Gono-odhikar Parishad exchanged views with Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami. On Tuesday (July 1, 2025) at 7:30 pm, a delegation led by Gono-odhikar Parishad President Nurul Haque Noor exchanged views with the central leaders of Jamaat at the Jamaat central office in Moghbazar in the Dhaka.

In a brief briefing to journalists at the end of the meeting, Jamaat’s Naib-e-Ameer Dr. Syed Abdullah Md. Taher said, “We discussed the overall situation of the country and some important issues. The meeting expressed hope that both parties will work together to deal with the national crisis in the coming days.”

In his brief speech, Gono-odhikar Parishad President Mr. Nurul Haque Noor emphasized the implementation of the ‘July Charter’ and the ‘July Declaration’.

Assistant Secretary General Maulana Rafiqul Islam Khan, Dr. Hamidur Rahman Azad, Maulana Abdul Halim and Advocate Ehsanul Mahbub Zubair were present on behalf of Jamaat-e-Islami in the exchange of views.

The Gono-odhikar Parishad delegation included the party’s spokesperson Faruk Hasan and members of the higher council Abu Hanif, Shakiluzzaman, Abduz Zaher, Habibur Rahman Riju and Rabiul Hasan.
