UAE Ambassador to Bangladesh pays courtesy call on Ansar-VDP Director General

On Tuesday (17 June 2025), the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Bangladesh, H.E. Abdullah Ali Abdullah Khasif Al Hamoudi, paid a courtesy call on the Director General of the Ansar-VDP Force, Major General Abdul Motaleb Sajjad Mahmud, SGP, BAM, NDU, AFWC, PSC, at the Ansar-VDP Headquarters. The Additional Director General of the Force was also present at the time. During the courtesy call, they exchanged cordial greetings and discussed various issues.

The Honorable Ambassador praised the professional skills, dedication and professionalism of the members of the Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defense Force deployed at the UAE Embassy. The Director General informed the Honorable Ambassador about the international standard of work organization through a comprehensive training program recently conducted to develop the members of Ansar VDP as skilled human resources. In this regard, they discussed the bilateral potential between Ansar and Village Defense Force and the United Arab Emirates to effectively and increase mutual cooperation.
