To make the joy of Eid-ul-Azha more meaningful, Honorable Home Affairs Advisor to the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, Lieutenant General Md. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury (Retd.) visited the headquarters of Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defense Force today, Saturday (07 June 2025).
The Advisor was accompanied by Md. Khoda Baksh Chowdhury, Special Assistant to the Honorable Chief Advisor. At this time, Director General of the force, Major General Abdul Motaleb Sajjad Mahmud, SGP, BAM, NDU, AFWC, PSC and senior officers of the force were present. The Honorable Home Affairs Advisor exchanged Eid-ul-Azha greetings with the officers, guards and other members of the force and inquired about their families. He participated in a special event for the members of the force during the Eid banquet.
The Honorable Home Affairs Advisor also praised the contribution of the Ansar Force members in maintaining law and order in the country and expressed gratitude for their sacrifice and dedication. During the visit, the Director General of the force informed the Home Affairs Advisor about the recent activities and future plans of the Ansar Force. His visit will not only instill new enthusiasm and inspiration among the members of the force, but will also encourage them to perform their professional duties.
