The prize distribution ceremony of the virtual science fair organized by the Ziaur Rahman Foundation (ZRF) was held on Friday (23 May 2025) afternoon at the ZRF office in Gulshan, the capital. The wife of BNP Acting Chairman Mr. Tarique Rahman, renowned cardiologist and Vice President of ZRF, Dr. Zubaida Rahman, was present as the chief guest at the ceremony.
In an inspiring speech addressed to children and teenagers, i.e. young scientists, Dr. Zubaida said, “I congratulate each and every contestant for their innovative science projects. We can see your compassion for science – in the future, we hope that you will do something for the entire people of the world by innovating in the world of science.”
Dr. Zubaida Rahman handed over the prizes to the winners at the ceremony. Later, she exchanged views with the members and advisors of the ZRF Board of Directors Committee. An informative video documentary on the various activities of ZRF since its inception was shown at the event.
