Russian House inaugurates international ‘One Run’ marathon in Dhaka

Russian House in Dhaka today (May 20, 2025) organized a grand opening ceremony of the international marathon “One Run”. This year, Bangladesh is participating in this major sporting event for the first time.

More than 200,000 runners from 25 countries worldwide will participate in this marathon to be held on May 24. Participating countries include Serbia, Bahrain, Armenia, Egypt, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Nepal, Cameroon, United Arab Emirates, China and many more.

This time, about 1,000 runners from Bangladesh will participate in this international running competition.

The opening ceremony was attended by Minister-Counselor of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Bangladesh Ekaterina Semenova, members of the diplomatic mission, journalists, and runners participating in the competition.
