JCI Dhaka Eminent launched “Skill Up, Step Up,” an employment generation and self-employment initiative aimed at providing free skills development training to unemployed, differently-abled, and marginalized youth across Bangladesh.
The inauguration ceremony was led by Mounota Alam, the 2025 Local President of JCI Dhaka Eminent, alongside Executive Vice President Ipsa Adiba, Secretary General Abir Ahmed Khan, Committee Chair Moshiur Rahman, Sharmin Sawar Aboni, and other members of the JCI Dhaka Eminent 2025 Local Board.

In February 2025, JCI Dhaka Eminent signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with iFixFast, Bangladesh’s leading mobile service provider. During the “Skill Up, Step Up” summit, the project’s current progress and future plans were presented. Akibul Islam Aryan, Founder and CEO of iFixFast, was also in attendance.
Through this initiative, participants will receive specialized training in mobile servicing, equipping them with professional skills to foster self-reliance and employment opportunities.
At the event, Mounota Alam, Local President of JCI Dhaka Eminent 2025, highlighted the importance of youth empowerment, skills development, and self-employment. She reaffirmed JCI Dhaka Eminent’s commitment to expanding such initiatives on a larger scale in the future.
