Francophone Diplomats Launch New Club in Bangladesh

French Ambassador Marie Masdupuy hosted a reception at the French Residence on Wednesday (23 April, 2025) evening, inviting French-speaking diplomats from various embassies in Bangladesh to inaugurate the Francophone Diplomats Club in Dhaka.

The event brought together diplomats who share a common connection through the French language, with the aim of strengthening ties among Francophone diplomatic missions and promoting the values of la Francophonie within the country.

With members from embassies across Asia, Europe, Africa, and the Americas, the club reflects the global reach of the Francophone world and its commitment to unity through diversity.

In her remarks, French Ambassador Masdupuy emphasized the importance of linguistic and cultural diversity in diplomacy, and the vital role French continues to play as a global language of communication and collaboration.
