Sena Parivar Kalyan Samiti, Ladies’ Club and Children’s Club handed over BDT 15 lakhs taka and relief materials to Chief Adviser’s Relief Fund

Sarahnaz Kamalika Zaman, Honorary Patron of Army Family Welfare Association and Chief Patron of Ladies Club and Children’s Club, today (27 August 2024) to Chief of Army Staff General Waqar-uz-Zaman, OSP, SGP, PSC to help the helpless people affected by sudden floods in various districts of the country. He handed over a grant of Rs. 15 lakhs. The amount donated will be paid to Hon’ble Chief Adviser’s Relief and Welfare Fund.

Besides, the relief items, cash, clothes, rations, medicine, dry food provided voluntarily by the members of Sena Parivar Kalyan Samiti, Ladies Club and Children Club existing in all cantonments are handed over to the concerned persons under the supervision of Ladies Club, Bangladesh Army. . Meanwhile, the sponsor of Sena Parivar Kalyan Samiti and chief sponsor of Ladies Club and Children’s Club expressed their strong conviction to stand by the helpless people affected by the flood and called upon the people from all walks of life to come forward to help the flood victims.

Senior officers of Army headquarters along with presidents of Sena Parivar Kalyan Samiti, Ladies Club and Children Club of Dhaka region were present in the event.
