The service of space-based internet service provider Starlink has been launched on a trial basis for the first time in Bangladesh.
The service was officially launched at the inaugural event of the ‘Bangladesh Investment Summit 2025’ held at Hotel Intercontinental in Dhaka on Wednesday (April 9, 2025) morning.
Starlink’s trial internet service began to be used at the Intercontinental Hotel in Dhaka, the venue of the Bangladesh Investment Summit. All participants present there are able to use it.
At the same time, the entire conference is broadcast live through this internet connection, which is being considered a significant advancement in technology.
