Chief Advisor officially inaugurated ‘Bangladesh Investment Summit 2025’

Chief Advisor Dr. Muhammad Yunus inaugurated the summit by participating in the ‘Bangladesh Investment Summit’ organized at Hotel Intercontinental in the capital on Wednesday (April 9, 2025).

Joining the session, he highlighted the steps taken to attract foreign investment. He urged foreign institutions to invest in Bangladesh.

In addition, the Chief Advisor awarded various institutions in 4 categories for their contribution to investment. He presented these awards at the inaugural ceremony.

The awarded institutions are – Fabric Lagbe received the award in the innovation category, Walton in the sustainability category, bKash in the foreign investment category and Square Pharmaceuticals Limited received the award in the local investment category.

In addition, honorary citizenship was granted to Kihak Sang, chairman of the Korean Export Processing Zone, in a special category.
