Bangladesh Investment Summit 2025 begins, ‘Startup Connect 2025’ underway in Dhaka.

The ‘Bangladesh Investment Summit 2025’ began in Dhaka on Monday (April 7, 2025), highlighting the country’s growing investment potential and opportunities for economic transformation. The summit is organized with the aim of opening new horizons for domestic and global investors.

As part of the summit, ‘Bangladesh Startup Connect 2025’ — a high-profile, two-day conference attended by world-renowned investors, startup entrepreneurs and policymakers — was organized.

The opening session of the conference was delivered by Mr. Tanvir Ali, Chairman of Constellation Asset Management Company Limited. The session was moderated by Sadia Haque, Co-Founder and CEO of ShareTrip.

The panel discussion was attended by Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) Executive Chairman Chowdhury Ashiq Mahmud Bin Harun, Special Assistant to the Principal Advisor (Information and Communication Technology Division) Faiz Ahmad Tayyeb, Bangladesh Bank Governor Dr. Ahsan H. Mansur, Finance Division Secretary Dr. Md. Khairuzzaman Majumder, and Information and Communication Technology Division Secretary and Startup Bangladesh Limited Chairman Sheesh Haider Chowdhury.

The conference aims to showcase Bangladesh’s emerging startup ecosystem, innovative potential, and the country’s progress in building a technology-based future to the world.
