DMP Additional Police Commissioner (Traffic) Md. Sarwar, BPM-Service, has bestowed rank badges on the 19 sergeants who were recently promoted from the post of sergeant of the traffic department of Dhaka Metropolitan Police to the post of police inspector (city and vehicles).
He formally bestowed rank badges on the promoted police sergeants at the DMP Headquarters on Monday (March 24, 2025) morning.
The promoted police officers are – Sergeant/Maqbul Hossain Khan, Sergeant/Mohammad Abdur Rahim, Sergeant/Mohammad Zakir Hossain, Sergeant/Md. Quddus Ali, Sergeant/Md. Kabir Hossain, Sergeant/A.S.M. Sharifuzzaman, Sergeant/Bikasuzzaman Roni, Sergeant/Md. Rubel Rana, Sergeant/Md. Nurul Islam, Sergeant/Md. Zahirul Haque, Sergeant/Md. Faisal Ahmed Biplob, Sergeant/Mina Mohibullah, Sergeant/Md. Badrul Alam, Sergeant/Md. Nasir Uddin, Sergeant/Md. Asadullah Al Ghalib, Sergeant/Mazaharul Islam, Sergeant/Md. Masud Rana, Sergeant/Md. Mokhlesur Rahman and Sergeant/Suman Kumar Mahanta.
