On Thursday (13 March 2025) evening, Bangladesh Army organized Iftar and dinner in honor of brave soldiers of the great war of independence, war-wounded brave freedom fighters, family members of martyrs in BDR massacre and soldiers injured in July Uprising.
Chief of Army Staff General Waqar-uz-Zaman, SBP, OSP, SGP, PSC was present as the chief guest on the occasion. At that time, the Army Chief exchanged greetings with the Honorable Advisor, Ministry of Freedom Fighters Affairs; Security Advisor to the Honorable Chief Advisor; war-wounded brave freedom fighters, family members of martyrs and soldiers injured in July Uprising and inquired about them.
More than four hundred war-wounded freedom fighters, family members of those martyred in the BDR massacre, fighters injured in the July Uprising, members of the Freedom Fighters Welfare Trust of the Ministry of Freedom Fighters Affairs, senior military and civilian officials, and media persons were present at the iftar and dinner.
