The Dhaka Division Ambassador Meetup of ICT Olympiad Bangladesh Season 2 was successfully held. The meetup held at Dhaka Biswa Sahitya Kendra on Saturday (January 4, 2025) was a memorable moment, with around 300 ambassadors and other individuals from more than 40 educational institutions present. It was not just a gathering, but an opportunity to present a strong vision and inspire the next generation through innovation, dissemination of technology education and leadership development.
The event began with the rendition of the national anthem and tributes to the martyrs. After that, Central Team Leader Md. Redwanur Rahman conducted a training session, where the ambassadors received detailed training on using the website dashboard and the participant registration process.
The main topic of discussion at the event was the development of the country through technology, the importance of creating future leadership and creating the right technological vision.
ICT Olympiad Bangladesh Founder and CEO Mohammad Shahriar Khan in his speech detailed the future plans and objectives of ICT Olympiad Bangladesh. He explained the importance of ambassadors and said, “With the combination of information and technology, we can build Bangladesh as a strong nation.”
Senior Vice Chairman and Head of Student Welfare Md. Abdur Rahman Nipu emphasized on teaching the students the right use of technology. He said, “The more technology they can use, the better their lives will be.”
Chief Educator Wahid Newton spoke about the importance of innovative ideas in the field of education and their effective application, which will help students become more effective in real life.
Project Director M. Abdullah discussed the positive impact of the project and how the right implementation process can make this initiative successful. He said, “Through this project, we can create a new technological vision in the country.”
ICT Olympiad Bangladesh Trustee Body Member Golam Sarwar and Head of Information Technology Department Md. Shahinur Islam were also present at the event, who inspired the ambassadors with their valuable speeches.
ICT Olympiad Bangladesh has always worked to create a creative and innovative environment for its participants, and through their participation, they are able to play an important role in the development of the country.

In particular, International Scholar Partner Nexfly announced that the two champions of the university category will be given a 2-night 3-day study tour to Singapore or Malaysia with travel tickets. The event concluded with a lively performance by music artist Zahid Antu, which instilled new conviction in the minds of the attendees.
The unique role that “ICT Olympiad Bangladesh” is playing in education and building a skilled nation through technology has been further strengthened through this event. This meetup has helped to increase technological knowledge and leadership skills among the students, and the participants are ready to fulfill their responsibilities more strongly. The organizers hope that such meetups will be held at all departmental levels in the coming days.
To make ICT education more popular and up-to-date, various inspiring programs based on information and technology of ICT Olympiad Bangladesh have already been organized in more than 280 educational institutions.
