Russian House Dhaka celebrated Russian Flag Day with a special event. Journalists, Russian Government Scholarship winners, Russian language students and other guests participated in the colorful event.
The Russian national anthem was performed at the beginning of the event. Later, special speeches and presentations were made highlighting the history of the Russian flag and the significance and evolution of one of the country’s main national symbols.
Students of the Russian language course actively participated in the event. They recited several Russian poems dedicated to the national flag. These included “Flag of Russia”, “Russian Flag” and “About the Color of the Flag”.
In the cultural segment, the participants and students of the event performed several popular Russian songs such as “Shirokaya Strana Maya Radnaya”, “Katyusha”, “Kalinka” and “Mataushka”.
