Home Affairs Advisor Lieutenant General Md. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury (Retd.) said that an investigation committee will be formed within the next 05 (five) working days to ensure justice in the BDR massacre.

The advisor said these things while briefing journalists at the conference room of the Ministry of Home Affairs on Tuesday (December 17, 2024) morning.
The advisor said that the interim government is determined to ensure justice in the BDR massacre. The Ministry of Home Affairs has been working towards this end since the formation of the interim government.
Lieutenant General Md. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury (Retd.) said that as the advisor in charge of the Ministry of Home Affairs, I have been vocal in ensuring justice in the BDR massacre from the beginning and I still am. The advisor said, I made the announcement for the first time in this regard on September 2, 2024 at the Ministry of Home Affairs and for the second time during my visit to the BGB Headquarters on November 4, 2024.
The advisor said, not only as the advisor in charge of the Ministry of Home Affairs, but also as a common citizen and former member of the army, I have been demanding justice for the BDR killings from the beginning. He said, the current interim government is determined to establish the rights of the people, good governance and justice in order to establish a society and state without discrimination.
Md. Khoda Baksh Chowdhury, Special Assistant to the Chief Advisor on the Ministry of Home Affairs, and Dr. Nasim Ahmed, Additional Secretary and Secretary of the Public Security Department of the Ministry of Home Affairs, along with journalists from various print, electronic and online media were present at the press briefing.
