Bangladesh showcased its capabilities and product diversity at ‘Sourcing at Magic 2026’, one of the leading fashion sourcing trade fairs in North America. The ‘Bangladesh Pavilion’ attracted the attention of global buyers and industry partners in the ready-made garments sector at the exhibition held from August 10 to 12 at the Las Vegas Trade Center in Nevada, USA.
With the financial support of the Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) and the overall management of the Consulate General of Bangladesh in Los Angeles, the fair was attended by 21 booths from 20 leading ready-made garments and textile companies of the country.
‘Sourcing at Magic’ is widely recognized internationally for connecting global garment manufacturers, textile and fabric suppliers, buyers, renowned brands and designers. The fair serves as one of the main gateways to enter the US market and open new doors for global sourcing.
This year, exhibitors from 24 countries, including Bangladesh, China, Vietnam and the United States, participated. The fair featured over 800 stalls or booths. The three-day event attracted an estimated 8,500 visitors from 70 countries, of which more than 73 percent were high-level buyers and policymakers in the sector.
Bangladeshi exhibitors showcased their growing capabilities and competitive advantages in the global market. The Bangladesh pavilion was particularly appreciated for showcasing knitwear, woven garments, casual wear, cotton shirts, premium denim, specialized washed products and high-margin formalwear.
During the fair, Bangladeshi exporters participated in a large number of business-to-business (B2B) meetings and trade discussions with international buyers. This led to a large number of business inquiries and opened up the possibility of new export orders.
Stakeholders believe that the fair has successfully demonstrated Bangladesh’s readiness to adapt to the changing demands of the global fashion sector. This participation will play an important role in increasing the visibility of Bangladeshi products in the US market, diversifying export markets, and further strengthening the country’s position as a reliable sourcing destination.
