A high-level meeting was held in the presence of Prime Minister and Leader of the Parliament Tarique Rahman, MP on the replacement and modernization of the sound system of the National Parliament.
The meeting, held at the Cabinet Meeting Room of the National Parliament Building on Monday (July 27) morning, was presided over by Barrister Kaiser Kamal, Acting Speaker of the National Parliament.

A detailed presentation was given at the meeting on various sound systems based on advanced technology in the world with the aim of modernizing the existing sound system of the National Parliament. At this time, the Public Works Department highlighted the possible technical options, technical capabilities and implementation plans.
The presentation discussed the technical features of the modern sound system, its effectiveness and various issues to ensure maximum compatibility with the activities of the National Parliament. The guests present gave their opinions on this matter and gave necessary directions.
The meeting was attended by Opposition Leader Dr. Shafiqur Rahman, Housing and Public Works Minister Zakaria Taher, Law Minister Md. Asaduzzaman, ruling party Chief Whip Nurul Islam Moni, opposition party Chief Whip Nahid Islam and other senior officials were present.
The meeting reviewed various aspects of installing a high-quality sound system to make the activities of the National Parliament more modern, effective and technology-based.
