International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB)—one of the best and most convenient venues in Dhaka for organizing various world-class fairs, international exhibitions and large-scale events. The ‘Bangladesh International Education Fair-2026’ is being held at this venue. Friday (July 24, 2026) was the second day of this international education fair organized at ICCB’s Gulnaqsha Hall. There was a huge crowd of students and parents throughout the fair premises. Around 10,000 students and parents gathered information from representatives of universities from home and abroad at this huge venue throughout the day yesterday.
The three-day fair, which began last Thursday, saw the participation of more than 2,500 university representatives from more than 45 countries in 35 impressive stalls. The modern and spacious venue allows for the provision of scholarships, admissions, language tests, visa guidelines and career advice in the same premises, as well as separate pavilions like the European, Malaysian and UK Education Expo, B2B business deals and networking sessions. In addition to educational fairs, the well-organized arrangements for organizing any major international conference, corporate expo or exhibition have made ICCB the first choice of entrepreneurs and organizers.
Yesterday, students were seen at each stall spread across a vast area. Some were looking for higher education in the UK, Canada or Australia, while others were checking the conditions, scholarships and possible costs of universities in Europe and Malaysia. In addition, various banks were present at the fair to provide financial solutions for studying abroad.
Mehedi Hasan, a student of Titumir College, said that it has been much easier to face representatives of so many countries under one roof at this expo organized at a quality venue like ICCB. Tasnia Rahman of North South University also said that it will be easier to make decisions now by facing direct information in a beautiful environment. Mehedi Islam, an official of NCC Bank, said that they are providing information on easy education loans up to a maximum of Tk 20 lakh for students with a nominal guarantor.
Regarding the successful implementation of this fair at an international quality venue like ICCB, Mahmud Ghalib, CEO of Fair Convener International, said that the huge attendance proves how much students are interested in going to the world stage. The company’s Director of Events and Sales, Ashikur Rahman Tanvir, reminded that the last opportunity to enjoy this huge fair and get necessary advice will be today (Saturday) until 8 pm.
