The first budget session of the 13th National Parliament is beginning today, Sunday (June 7, 2026).
This is going to be the first budget session of the parliament after the formation of the BNP government in the national elections held on February 12. This session, as the second session of the 13th National Parliament, will begin at 3 pm today at the National Parliament Building.
It is reported that Finance Minister Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury is likely to present the proposed national budget for the fiscal year 2026-27 in the parliament on June 11.
