The food grain distribution program allocated from the Prime Minister’s relief fund in favor of Gazipur-1 constituency has been inaugurated.
On Sunday (June 7, 2026) at 9 am, Md. Mojibur Rahman, Member of Parliament for Gazipur-1 constituency, inaugurated the program as the chief guest at the inaugural ceremony organized at Kaliakair Municipality Hall.
The ceremony was presided over by Kaliakair Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Mr. A.H.M. Fakhrul Hossain.
The food grain allocated from the Prime Minister’s relief fund is being distributed simultaneously to 9 unions and municipalities of Kaliakair Upazila, as well as areas under Kashimpur, Konabari and Basan Metro Police Stations. This food grain distribution program is being conducted as part of the Prime Minister’s humanitarian initiative.
Local public representatives, government officials, political leaders, and people from different walks of life were present at the time.
