Bangladesh-Pakistan Education Expo-2026 inaugurated by Education Minister Dr. Ehsanul Haque Milon

Diplomatic Desk:

Honorable Minister of Education and Primary and Mass Education Dr. ANM Ehsanul Haque Milon said that the Pakistan-Bangladesh Knowledge Corridor project is playing an important role in educational cooperation between the two countries and expanding international higher education opportunities for students.

He said these things while speaking as the chief guest at the ‘Launching Ceremony of the 2nd Phase of Pakistan-Bangladesh Knowledge Corridor & Inauguration of Education Expo-2026’ held at Radisson Blu Dhaka Water Garden Hotel in the capital on Monday (May 11, 2026).

The minister said that 74 Bangladeshi students are already pursuing higher education in Pakistan in the first phase of this project. In the second phase, great opportunities have been created for talented students.

He said, “The quality of education in Pakistani universities is very good. Bangladeshi students are getting the opportunity to study there without any cost, which is very commendable. Especially, the monthly scholarship being provided to the students for accommodation and living expenses will help them to focus fully on their studies.”

Pakistan High Commissioner to Bangladesh Imran Haider, Education Secretary Abdul Khaliq, representatives of the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan and senior officials of the University Grants Commission (UGC) of Bangladesh were present at the event.

After the event, the minister visited the stalls of various universities in Pakistan and exchanged views with the students.
