Bangladesh’s Independence and National Day celebrated in Turkey

Various programs were celebrated in Istanbul, the capital of Turkey, on the occasion of Bangladesh’s Independence and National Day.

Information Minister Zahir Uddin Swapan was present as the chief guest at the event. Bangladesh Consul General in Istanbul, Mizanur Rahman, was present as the special guest at the event, which was organized under the chairmanship of Ambassador Md. Amanul Haque.

The local Bangladeshi community expressed deep excitement to receive the Information Minister as the chief guest. Information Minister Zahir Uddin Swapan is currently in Istanbul to participate in a two-day international summit on strategic mass communication at the invitation of the Turkish government. It is reported that he joined the event as part of the same visit.
