On the occasion of Independence and National Day, the day was celebrated with due dignity and deep respect across the country. The day’s formalities began with 31 gun salutes at sunrise.
As part of this event, an artillery regiment of the Bangladesh Army used 06 songs and fired 31 gun salutes to the martyrs who sacrificed themselves in the great war of independence.
Through this gun salute and song salute, the nation remembers with deep respect the martyrs who sacrificed themselves in the great war of liberation of 1971. At the same time, the determination to contribute to the building of the country by being inspired by the spirit of independence was reiterated.
On the occasion of Independence Day and National Day, various programs are held across the country to commemorate the martyrs and highlight the significance of independence.
