On Tuesday (March 24, 2026) at 3:30 PM, Pakistan Ambassador to Bangladesh Mr. Imran Haider paid a courtesy call on the Honorable Minister’s Office in the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism.

Honorable Minister of the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism Afroza Khanam (Rita), MP and State Minister M Rashiduzzaman Millat were present at the meeting.

During the meeting, emphasis was placed on further strengthening, dynamic and multidimensional expansion of the existing bilateral relations between Bangladesh and Pakistan. Pakistan expressed its interest in working jointly with Bangladesh in the aviation sector. The Ambassador mentioned the launch of flights on the Dhaka-Lahore route and emphasized on increasing the number of flights in the future.

In addition, interest was expressed in signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the development of the tourism sector. The Honorable Minister and the State Minister expressed their determination to work closely with Pakistan in the civil aviation and tourism sectors.
