India, Bangladesh Discuss Expanding Economic and Financial Cooperation

Diplomatic Desk:

The High Commissioner of India to Bangladesh, Pranay Verma, paid a courtesy call on the Finance and Planning Minister of Bangladesh, Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury.

During the meeting, the two sides held extensive discussions on various issues of mutual interest aimed at strengthening financial and economic cooperation between the two countries.

The discussion placed particular emphasis on collaboration in the financial sector, the development of the digital economy, and emerging areas such as artificial intelligence. Both sides also discussed ways to enhance investment and improve the ease of doing business in order to further deepen economic engagement between India and Bangladesh.
