Commerce Minister Khandaker Abdul Muktadir made a surprise visit to Mohammadpur Town Hall Raw Market in the capital on Monday (February 23, 2026) afternoon. The visit was made to observe the supply, price situation and overall management of daily necessities in the market on the spot.
During the visit, the minister spoke to traders and buyers and inquired about the price and supply situation of the products. He directed the concerned to be vigilant in maintaining order in the market, preventing adulteration and excessive price collection. At the same time, he emphasized on taking necessary measures to ensure the sale of products at fair prices.
