BNP MPs will not take duty-free cars and government plots: Decision in the first meeting of the parliamentary party

The first meeting of the parliamentary party of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) was held today (Tuesday, February 17, 2026) at the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban under the chairmanship of Tarique Rahman after the oath-taking ceremony of the newly elected members of parliament. The newly elected MPs of the party participated in this meeting held after the oath-taking ceremony and important discussions were held on the conduct of party activities in the parliament and the implementation of the principles and norms.

It was unanimously decided in the meeting that no respected member of parliament of the BNP will take duty-free cars. At the same time, it has been decided not to take any plots allocated by the government.
